CBN

CBN

What is it?

Studies show CBN can be used effectively as a sleep aid or sedative. This cannabinoid has also been shown to help regulate the immune system and works to relieve the pain and inflammation caused by several conditions, including arthritis and Crohn’s disease. Studies show that it can be used to reduce the intraocular eye pressure caused by glaucoma. CBN acts as an anticonvulsant, so it is also beneficial to patients suffering from seizure disorders including epilepsy.

Cannabinol, or CBN, is a mildly psychoactive component found in cannabis which, like strongly psychoactive THC, is derived from tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THC-A). CBN is created when THC-A oxidizes. CBN interacts weakly with the CB1 receptor and more strongly with the CB2 receptor. These receptors play a role in regulating a number of processes like appetite, mood, memory, and pain.

Where should I start?

If you are new to CBN (or any cannabinoid for that matter) we always suggest going low and slow. Start with just a little, see how it feels and increase or decrease from there. Finding the proper amount of CBN for yourself is crucial. Too little and you will not experience desired results, too much and you can experience drowsiness.

How do I use your Mixing Powder?

We recommend using CBN within an hour of bedtime. It is important to remember that every endocannabinoid system is different. If after a week you are not seeing the intended result, please contact us. Ideally, it is best to navigate this process under the guidance of a qualified physician.

Our CBN Mixing Powders include a 10mg serving spoon. It is incredibly versatile but we recommend adding it to a glass of night time tea.
