What is it?

THCV, or tetrahydrocannabivarin, is a compound in cannabis that offers a unique array of effects and medical benefits that sets it apart from other cannabinoids like THC and CBD. Unlike THC, which is psychoactive and an agonist at the CB1 and CB2 receptors, THCV is a non-psychoactive, neutral CB1 antagonist may act as agonist or antagonist at the CB2 receptors depending on its dose.

THCV decreases appetite, increases satiety, and up-regulates energy metabolism, making it a clinically useful remedy for weight loss and management of obesity and type 2 diabetic patients. The distinctions between THCV and THC in terms of glycemic control, glucose metabolism, and energy regulation have been demonstrated in previous studies.

Where should I start?

If you are new to THC-V (or any cannabinoid for that matter) we always suggest going low and slow. Start with just a little, see how it feels and increase or decrease from there. Finding the proper amount of THC-V for yourself is crucial. Too little and you will not experience desired results, too much and you can experience dizziness, light headedness, and paranoia.

How do I use your Mixing Powder?

Our THC-V Mixing Powders include a 10mg serving spoon. It is incredibly versatile but we recommend adding it to black coffee or a morning smoothie for a great boost to your day.

We recommend using it in the morning as it is known to effect energy (do not use within 4 hours before sleeping). It is important to remember that every endocannabinoid system is different.
